October is the month to plant winter vegetables. It is hot now but in another month rain, cooler temperatures and shorter days will encourage the growth of winter crops. The California Organic Gardening Club has raised hundreds of plants ready for your winter garden. These include peas, leafy greens, root vegetables and cruciferous vegetables. Plan to grow wonderful crisp salads, healthy broccoli and juicy beets. Brighten up the shorter days with fun in your own back yard.
Members will be on hand to give gardening advice.
COGC members will wear mask and gloves.
All customers must wear a mask to be served.
Social distancing required.
Come by our booth at the Cypress Farmers Market.
